'Till Death Do Us Part

Hi guys, this is my band. We have been working on our stuff since last October, but nothing fell in place until this February. I can't tell you how many guitarists we went through.. Anyways, this is where we are at now. I just posted a rough copy of our first song. Critique vocals (thats my part) and guitar and everything I guess.

Thanks guys. Oh the myspace is http://www.myspace.com/deathdouspartmusic that is where you will find the song.

Thanks

God Bless

Jake

The production of the song is very good. I did not like the gollum-esque hissing type of scream. Other than that it sounded pretty awesome.

The songs seems rather emotionless. The vocals in particular. Work on the screaming, and putting more push behind it. If the vocalist would scream with more force, I think he would get a Haste The Day type sound, very good. The music is pretty generic and lacks variety. I like the part where it goes into the faster beat, that is probably the song's best part. I would change it up with more parts like that.
A good start for a new band though, you have some good quality production, something alot of new band's don't have.

keep playing.

THanks man, we will. We have to re-record the vocals, we just laid them down in less than 5 minutes. there are spots where we do more interesting things (did you hear that long gap towards the end of the song) yeah we need to finish recording.. *cough*

so more emotion in the vocals? i can do that. I just cant wait until we add the intro, its freaking sweet. ill let yalls know when we update it. thanks for the critique and keep it coming.
