| Band with the best bass lines What band consistently has your favorite bass lines?
Mine would have been Newsboys (mostly because of Take Me to your Leader), but I'm gonna say Switchfoot in light of Phil Joel's recent adoption of boring bass lines. |

| I believe that your favorite basslines would be likely be played by your favorite bassist when he is playing for your favorite band |

With that said, I have to say that John Paul Jones from Led Zeppelin never wrote a bass line that wasn't perfect for the song. |
