| does/did this this sort of thing ever go on in your school? yester day I was lining up for class outside of the art dept and a friend told me about a fight that went on at luch time. Apparently some guy got rugby tackeld and then started to get the living daylights knocked out of him. during this, some older boys came along and joined in, at beating him up! apparently they where kicking him in the face and stamping on his chest.
As far as I know its not the first time this has happened in the school.
Now I think that our school is perticularly violent. I already knew there was a fighting ure, but not on this scale, so does/did this sort of thing happen in your school? |

| I never understand how this crap goes on... The second you start this stuff you should be kicked out of that school with no chance to return. Be forced to either find a school that will take you, go flip burgers, or get yourself in prison, preferably burgers it is less of a burden on taxpayers. |

| Would never happen where I would live, anyway...lots of suicides though.
*edit*
There was one murder: this guy got upset that his best friend had the girl he wanted, so he put arsenic in his best friend's drink. Then he realized what he'd done and tried to save him, but it was too late. |

| My school isn't particularly violent(though we do have our fair share of girlfights), it's mostly drama between the town trash and the out-of-town trash. There's also drama between the cheerleaders and town trash (together) and me. But it's not incredibly violent.
I think the last murder we had was a guy in the next town(about 20) who killed his girlfriend's grandmother and kidnapped her and her younger cousin. The cousin that he kidnapped went to my school. It was insane for a few days. They finally turned up in some hotel room in Mississippi or somewhere. Everybody was reeeeaaaally scared.

| We have a ton of fights. 3300 kids in an inncer-city school in the projects isn't the best formula for a peaceful school campus.
Fighting is an automatic 10 day suspension at my school, even if you are defending yourself. |

| Yeah we have fights every now and then, but there are a lot of security guards.
Once I went into a bathroom and there was blood all over a sink and a wall.
Also once there was a lot of blood on the wall of the locker room and a huge hole in the wall where someone got bashed through it. (I could easily climb in the hole)

| Fights, especially gang fights, were quite common at the high school I went to. Downtown school, many ethnic gangs with members from Serbia and Croatia here as refugees....I remember the day that the cops were called 4 times because of the different gang fights that day.
Never been a murder at my old school, least not yet. Some suicide, car accidents are big, cancer, drug ODs, etc. I'm sure that it will come to that.
It's not that it's any more violent than the other downtown high schools are here, they're all like that. The ones out in the 'burbs are better, less in your face violence, more designer drugs.

| My school has probably 1 serious fight in a week, pretty damn good for a south London school, I can assure you.
There's a school nearby to mine called Saint (lol) Josephs. After the most recent wave of stabbings they've had to install metal detectors at the doors. I've got a mate who goes there, he's almost 6 foot and very well built, and even he's had some serious injuries, not a nice place by any standards. |
