| snl's a great show, I may not agree with you on football, but I'll agree with you on that.
My 3 favorite are Adam Sandler, Chris Rock (even though he was only on for a season or two) and Eddie Murphy. |

| That's a great one, but I always liked the Buckwheat imitation better... a Buckwheat Christmas Album, Ha! Oh, you gotta love some Nat-X, too. |

| I used to be a big SNL watched before they got so trashy to much garbage on it now, it's just becoming not funny. Now the old ones were great with Chris Farley.

| My favorite comedians would have to be Darrell Hammond, Dana Carvey and Mike Myers.

| I love watching the old SNL's on Comedy Central
I think the original Cast (75-80) and the late 80's early 90's cast are by far the best
My favorites are: Dana Carvey, Phil Hartman, Mike Myers, Will Ferrell, John Belushi, Bill Murrey
I think the best is Eddie Murphy (gumby!!!!)
Best Weekend Update: Kevin Neland
Favorite Host (not a former cast member): Steve Martin, Tom Hanks, Alec Baldwin
Favorite sketch(es): Motivational Speaker, Buckwheat, Waynes World, two guys who can't get dates(jon lovitz and tom hanks), and so many more. |

| Any comments about the New Cast!
I think the sketches are pretty lame!
That one about the two Jr. high kids who put on morning show at their school is awful. I can't believe it's a recurring sketch! |

#10 | | Guest | SNL today is firmly resting on the shoulders of Will Ferrell. He is the only person who is consistently doing funny (but more importantly to SNL) memorable sketches and characters. He's had movie roles and is slowly outgrowing the small star that usually encompasses SNL fame. I am sure he will recognize the greater potential he has in Hollywood and leave the show soon, at which point it will completely falter. The show has never rested so much on one person. Even when Dana Carvey was controlling the show in the 90's, they still had plenty of supporting stars like Farley, Hartmann, Myers, etc....The current crew just doesn't have enough star power to carry on once Will leaves. Jimmy Fallon shows promise, but is still before his prime. | |

| Yeah, I have to agree w/ the whole new cast being not so good...
although this past week's show was pretty funny, w/ josh hartnett hosting... ha ha
I liked Tim Meadows when he was on the show, Will Ferrell, and Jimmy Fallon... but the greatest were the old guys... the origanal cast....
oh and I love Dana Carvey's stuff
