What are you wearing in church?

Really, they say, our clothes in church and beyond shouldn't be the same ...

What do you think and how you deal with old church members' opinion?

When I go to God's house-I dress modestly and in clean clothes-I don't give a fig if people don't think I should wear jeans to church, or a t-shirt--the point is to respect God not other people.

Talking

I personally wear clean clothes. I shower, brush my teeth, and fix my hair. I try and wear my best~for God of course.

Sometimes I think that we should give a fig about what other people think. I don't want to be a stumblingblock for those people that are in my church that think that things have to be done a certain way. Although I think that they are wrong, (most of the time) I try my best to keep the peace.

Course, the grestest problem is to find balance between your comfort and other's members.

Since I am in "God's house" all the time, and I strive to constantly worship Him, especially outside of church, I do not feel any special need to dress up for church. I wear what I wear normally, which is something clean and presentable. I don't like to look like a scrub in public, and it is the same in church.

I wear jeans and a t-shirt or sweatshirt. Sometimes I wear a nicer shirt, but not usually. When I was younger, I wore a skirt or dress and then I switched to black pants or dressier pants, but now it's jeans.

Usually a button up dress shirt, tucked in, with khaki pants and dress shoes. Either that or a dressy polo.

I wear skirts and sometimes heels. I love wearing skirts. Most people in my church value modesty over fancy clothes, so I've never heard anyone complain about the ones who wear jeans and t-shirts.

I dress somewhat nicely out of respect for my pastor. Jeans, buttondown, chucks, belt, wallet chain, tie.

Jeans and a T-shirt. To require something else would would prevent me from going to church, as that's all I own.

I try to wear my nicest jeans, though, and not the ones that are all ratty from work.

A stumbling block is when we cause another person to sin. This verse is constantly misused.

When someone gets their shorts in a bunch because they don't like the color of my shirt, that's their own sin that they're responsible for.

I where comfortable jeans to church. The family we've been meeting in the house of is a farming family, so they are wearing jeans. When i go to traditional churches though, i wear a skirt. gives me a great opportunity
