Well our school is big enough that cliques aren't a huge problem, but sports is a BIG DEAL (sometimes a good thing, sometimes not) so the sports teams can get kinda cliquey, but I for one love having my cross country "family" so I guess that's good.

From what I can tell, cliques aren't a terribly big problem at my school, although some people are just kinda near-universally ostracized by everyone. The only two cliqueish groups I can think of are the people who spend most of their effort trying to look hardcore and the mind-numbingly happy people, for lack of better descriptions, but they kinda intermingle, so who knows?

my school has the preps, jocks, skaters, punks, nerds, normal people, and what i would call freaks (not trying to be mean) some of the groups overlap though. Ex: prep and jock, punk and skater. the normal people don't really have anything that sticks out as unique. i think thats pretty much all of them.
