[Miscellaneous]

Seriously. I have a 4 month old german shepherd. I'm not exactly sure what's wrong with him, but he's pretty sick. Friday, he started vomiting what looked like mucus and pretty much vomited all day. Saturday morning, I went to the vet and told him what was wrong (I didn't have enough money to bring my dog....) and he gave me some shots and a iv bag, assuming that it was parvo. Well, I dont' think it is parvo, but anyway... He had diarrea which looked like water (no blood). I started running the ivs giving him it 3 times a day and force feeding him a 32 ounce bottle of gatorade a day. I also have been giving him the shots the vet gave me.

Well, my dog is very lethargic. He wants to sleep all the time. However, when I get him up he does have some energy and looks like he wants to play. He wants to play with another dog we have and does at times. He won't eat, but he will drink a little. Until this afternoon, i could hear his stomach rumbing when I listened to it. It sounded like it stopped.

I tried to feed him (make him eat) a little food today, but he just threw it back up. I'm not sure what could be wrong, but he's losing a lot of weight. I am going to keep running the ivs and keeping him hydrated, but I would kinda like to know whats wrong and will it pass.

Has anyone ever had a dog with these symptoms and if so what happened?

I've never had a dog with those symptoms, but I have had other animals kind of like that. You might try deworming him. I don't really know how he might have gotten them but it's a possibility.
