I used to own an '80s Sigma...I forget the model name/number but it was a D-28 "style" guitar.
Cost around $200 new. Was never a very good sounding guitar.

I was happy to sell it.

I have played a very early Sigma (MIJ) and THAT was an impressive axe. Used it for a recording session one time and the tone was rich and it played very nicely.

hmm,
http://www.nobleowl.com/products.asp..._id=7402887549
that guitar sold for $350, so it's bound to be worth at least $200

I have a Sigma DV-4 I have had it 19 years and it has a fishman thinline pick up on it, I have been playing it in southern gospel and would not sell it for anything close to book price, nor would I trade it for some of the newer Martins I have played. It sounds great thats why I bought it. What did you want to know about them?

Just a heads up, OP is relatively inactive and this thread is five years old. I'm going to go ahead and close it. If the OP has questions for you, they will PM you.
