Kangaroo I don't get it... at a church retreat about a month ago one of our youth pastors and our worship leader played this game called Kangaroo, and I can't figure out the solution to it and they won't tell anyone how they did it.
Here's what they did:
Ok, first they stand about five feet apart from each other, and for a minute or two they wave their hands around in the air trying to get what they call "the vibe". Then one of them goes into another room, and the other points at a few people in the room while saying 'kangaroo' while pointing at each person, and then ends pointing at one person. And then the guy in the other room guesses the person exactly. He couldn't have had a hole in the wall or door or something to look through, since we had someone go in the room with him to make sure he didn't. Only 9 out of around 40 people on the retreat were able to figure it out, although I think most everyone on the retreat have by now(those 9 were just the 9 that had figured it out right after they did the trick, so probably almost everyone has figured it out by now).
Anyone have any idea on how they did this? To make it even more complicated, they can do it with their eyes closed, and they did it a few different ways(the first method, and once where they would stand back to back or side by side while trying to find the "vibe" by tapping on a broomstick at the same time). I guess you'd have to be watching it to find out, but I was thinking that someone might have seen a trick similar to this and knew one of the ways they could have done it(and the whole vibe thing was just a coverup thing of course). |
