Yesterday was my parent's anniversary. So they went out to eat at Cracker Barrell while Jeremy and I were at home. Whenever my parents go out, they always get pizza for Jeremy and I. Apparently, Little Caesar had this great deal for 2 pizzas so Jeremy and I each got our own pizza. It was pretty sweet to not have to eat with a plate.
| Haha, yes! Lucky. Quote: |
I watched Signs last night. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed that movie. I had also forgotten how M. Night Shymalan is the man. I am now very excited for his new movie coming out. We also watched Hoodwinked, which I thought was sort of weak. But that's ok.
| He is totally the man. And I am so excited that he's going to work with Bryce Dallas Howard again.
Anyways, how are you today, Jana?

| Signs rocks! As does The Village. Most people didn't care for it, but I thought it was a good movie. Especially because the villagers were basically Amish.

I may have done it one other time in my life. We also had our own thing of crazy bread so there was tons of food left over. I think we finally got rid of all of it 2-3 days later.
Yesterday I went job hunting. It went over pretty well, IMO. None of the places told me that they would call me until next week . I WANT A JOB NOW!!!!! Geez. The business that seemed the most optomistic to hire was this Tex-Mex restaurant called Mamacita's. It's a local chain started by this Arab guy. Technically, it's not really Tex-Mex but rather Tex-Pakistani or whatever nationality he is.
I watched King Kong this afternoon. That movie is absolutely amazing. It took forever before the Kong finally was played into the movie...I started thinking, "is this movie about an ape or not??" Anyways, I loved it *happygrin*. |

| Hey Jana.
I myself hate job searching. It can be so stressful. I am glad it went well for you..hopefully you will get a job soon.
Eating out of box= I like doing that. |

| I watched King Kong once.. but I think the DVD was scratched, or the player was messed up, because I missed a lot of it. We borrowed it from one of Mom's friends. I'm going to rent it sometime and see if I can see the whole thing.

| I got a call back yesterday from this buffet place called "Fire Mountain". I have an interview tomorrow afternoon. If I get hired, I'll be a cashier-which I have no problem with. I think being a cashier would actually be a nice job there.
Saturday night was the worse night ever. I had never cried at work before but I did Saturday night. I don't want to go into details but it was terrible. I really want to quit my other job now. But I told them I would stay through the summer .
Nothing else is really going on. Toodles. |

| Oh, I am sorry about the bad day at work. I had a bad day like that on the 7th of this month. I was pretty much ready to give my notice.
I actually really like doing cashier. It is not over stressful. And you can kinda relax from moving.
I woldn't mind that. *muses*

| Hm.. As an ex-cashier in a grocery store, standing in one place for a straight three hours or more is NOT good.. I much prefer to move around a bit. It is better for your feet and legs.
I'm sorry to hear that you had a bad day at work, I've been there... I hope things get better there.

| Haven't really been on in awhile. I'm copying my post from my xanga. I'm sorry if I'm repeating myself:
This week has been ever so busy. I got a phone call last Sunday from Fire Mountain asking if I would like to come by to the restaurant on Tuesday afternoon. I assume this is an interview, because from what I'm told, that is how the job searching process goes. So I arrive at the restaurant ready for my interview and they start giving me paperwork. Apparently they hired me without telling me.
So I went into training Wednesday and Thursday. Friday was my first "real" day and it was pretty easy. Saturday, however, I had to go in at 7:00 in the morning and stay until 4:00. I was also the only cashier there. There was so much stuff that I didn't do but I was too busy ringing people up. I busted my butt the entire 9 hours I was there. I'm not sure how long I'm gonna end up staying there.
After work, Saturday, I ate Marie Callender's fettuchini(sp?) alfredo stuff and I watched Gone with the Wind. All of it. All 4+ hours of it. I had forgotten how much I had liked that movie. It's amazing to watch someone so vain and selfish discover what is really important and unfortunately, in a tramatic way. I also wish Rhett Butler would be my homie. I think it would be fun to go ice skating with him.
I bought the FAIR( www.myspace.com/fair) CD this week. It is amazing. "Monday" is definitely my favorite song on it. Aaron Sprinkle is the bomb. You cannot deny it.
The best news of my week is that...*drumroll*...I got a car! Oh my goodness, it is amazing! It is a 2005 Ford Taurus, sort of a Topaz color. I don't have to drive a car that doesn't have an air conditioner anymore! YES! The only drawback is that there is no CD player but I can buy one-at least the radio works, right?
Today:
I was off work. I went to EZ's for lunch and then I went to H&H music store. I played a grand piano there. I really want it. And then I went to Old Navy and bought flip flops. I went home and fell asleep while watching the news. I went to the college group thing this evening and I saw a really old friend there. She's the first friend I've ever had that is married. It's insane that people I know are engaged and stuff. Especially since I feel like such a little kid.
That is all. |

| Wow, congrats on the automotive acquisition! Tauruses are very good cars. I still have to go cruisin' with my 1985 Oldsmobile Cutlass.. It doesn't have a cassette player, so I can't even use the adapter.. Mom had a 2001 (I think) white Taurus, it was awesome. My brother's friend totaled it.

I think it was a '94. It was nice. Quote: |

Happy 4th everybody!! Today was good. Work was really easy today and I got to eat Caesar salad. You have no idea how much I love Caesar salad. After work, I hung out and my dad grilled these filet mignon things for dinner.
There is usually a fireworks show at the park but it's so crowded to get in and out of that we didn't bother going. And I'm glad we didn't because it stormed furiously an hour and a half before the show. The elctricity went out for a few seconds and everyone's electronics stuff had to reboot. My dad and I watched Ladder 49. I liked it. It gave me a new appreciation for firemen. And it was really cool because a family friend of ours from my school is starting fireman training in the fall.
This is all. Toodles. |

| Dude...I need to get on here more often
Anywho, my week has been really good. I've been working a lot. My parents were off all last week. I officially love driving my car and I have become a freaking speed demon since I've gotten it. Not to mention I listen to my music WAY too loud.
Friday night I was Pirates 2. It was the greatest movie ever. I loved it. The ending was amazing. However, a lot of people at my church didn't like it. Bah humbug.
I'm listening to The Format right now. I don't know what drove me to listen to music that is this indie. I've been in a very indie mood lately.
Hmmm...there's nothing really going on. Can't think of anything to say. |

| Looks like we need a little more inspiration.
Remember posting in Kingdomheart44's blog, about taking over the world.
*shove of.* Of our attitudes. In jest of course. I was just reminded of that.
Feels far away-*thedramaoflongago*
I just found out I can eat Ceasar Salad for free at work. No one told me. *screech* I love Ceasar salad too.

| I've heard a lot of people say that the ending sucked and that if I wanted to see the movie, I should wait and rent it. But this is obviously one of those 'to each his own' situations. I think I'll end up seeing it.
