Gas prices infuriate me. It makes me so mad that I have no choice but to give OPEC all of my money (I know this statement is politically incorrect but bear with me here). I wish I lived somewhere that I could just ride my bike everywhere instead of central Texas-which is nothing but hills and plains (yes that is the total opposite...where I live is so weird) and it takes 15 minutes to drive anywhere you want to go.
Anyways, I went over to Leslie's house today where my spanish class worked on our spanish project. We're doing a rip-off of Don Quixote (sp?) and we started filming today. We spent about 2.5 hours and we only filmed about 15% of the movie. How discouraging. |

| I live in a county that still has a lot of gravel roads. There was one time that my brother and I went mudding. On a county road. yes. We live in the boonies. 20 minutes to any town that has at least 10,000 people.
The last time I checked, the cheapest gas in Indiana was around 2.65, and it's not in Evansville. I think it's somewhere around 2.90 here. I think it was 2.85 back in Daviess County. It's so stupid. I was liking the descent back into the <2.00 range.

I graduated on Saturday. It was nice. I pretty much ran around like a decapitated chicken for 12 hours straight. I cried at the ceremony because I dad was crying like a baby and I can't stand watching men crying. So my face was all red at the recessional which really pissed me off.
My grandparents are in town right now. I haven't seen them since last summer and it's nice to see and visit with them. I can tell that they've gotten older. This past year was really hard on them with the hurricane and all. They brought us some MRE's (Meal Ready to Eat) from the hurricane and they actually tasted okay.
I've decicated today to scrapbooking. I still haven't finished my pages from last year's prom. I am dreadfully behind.
I came on here and realized that I'm a mod now. I applied to be one about 2 months ago...I just thought I got rejected.
I think that's all that has happened to me in the past few days. I'm glad that I'll be on more often because of the summer. |

| I wonder if Ben will cry at his graduation ceremony in June...
I cannot do scrapbooking. I am so bad at it. My older sisters love it, but I did one book and gave up.
What are you a mod of? That is so cool. You can see the moderator's forum now. *wiggles eyebrows* Nifty.
I'M GLAD TOO! I missed you around here a lot. That is all. |

| You should have seen my first scrapbook...it was appalling. I'm working on my third and fourth one right now and they look much better. Quote: |

| I'm mod of Classical Music and Jazz forums. I need to broaden my knowledge of that music so I figured being a mod would help. The mod forum is so overrated. I kid you not. Quote: |

Hmmm...today I will go to church and read. That is all I will do.
Yesterday...I applied at this restaurant right by my house because I don't think my current job will give me enough hours this summer. They said that they would call today. They haven't yet *bites nails off due to anxiety*. After I applied, I went to the bank inside our Wal-Mart to deposit my graduation money only to get more in the mail that day .
After that, I ate fajitas for dinner and then I went to see X-Men 3 with Jeremy, this dude that goes to my school that's Jeremy's age, and his younger brothers. I was by far the oldest person there. It was kind of funny. The movie was pretty cool. There's this neat scene with the Golden Gate Bridge that I liked. That chick that played Rogue is really pretty. I thought about that every time I saw her.
Hmmm...that is all. |

| I have never watched any of the X-men movies- I keep planning on it, but never do.
Are they worth watching-seriously though-Patrick Stewart and Mr. Ian are always worth watching. *slapsself*
Hi. banana

The special FX are nice and there are some good acting moments but I wasn't at all impressed with the plot. This is coming from one who never got into X-Men so the big fans may say otherwise.
Tomorrow is Vacation Bible School for the 4-9 year olds at church. The way we do VBS is different from most other churches. All sorts of people volunteer to teach classes. This year's classes include basketball, fishing, volleyball, jewelry making, etc. All of the kids choose 2 of the classes offered. We start off the morning with worship music and a lesson and then all of the kids go to their first class. After their class ends, they go into the second class where they eat a sack lunch that they brought. After lunch, they do the second class. It goes on for 5 days. I'm helping this year and am very excited about it. I think I'll be leading worship...but who knows.
We had this senior recognition thing at church today. They asked all of the graduates to have their family come down to the front while the pastors gave us a "send-off". While they were talking, my parents were behind me and they were rubbing my back and stuff. Since they were behind me, I didn't know when they would do it. So everytime they would touch me, I would yelp very quietly. And for some reason, my mom kept on getting closer and closer to me. So I kept on trying to lean forward because she was too close for my claustrophobic self to handle. By the time they were finished, I felt that my body was in a sideways U.
Toodles. |

| You are somewhat claustrophobic?
That sounds interesting...
Do you help in worship already at church?
