What type of music is tobyMac?

tobyMac is my favorite person from the dc talk trio but I was wonderin what type of music he does.I have his cd and I love it but I can't think of who he sounds like. I asked my cousin who is into mainly secular music who toby sounds like and he had no clue.He just said that maybe sometimes the music sounds like Linkin Park but other than that tobyMac is different. So,will you please tell me what you think his music altogether sounds like.

P.S. --tobyMac rawks!

I just heard Toby Mac in concert last night... and I would say he's loud!!!

No, seriously. Anyone I've asked calls Toby Mac rap... although he said last night that he was a terrible rapper ((which begs the question, why was he rapping if he's terrible???)) but it wasn't terrible...

Any-hoo, I see I'm terribly late. But I'm usually either really late in responding to a thread, or when I do I'm off-topic. ah well...

It's rap, simply because that's the most consistent part of it.

Of 12 actual songs, are hip-hop/rap kinda songs of different flavors, 5 I would almost call rapcore, and 1 is one of those easy rap rock songs.
