Lightbulb UPC Bible Colleges

Are any of you Pentecostals going to Bible College? Or planning on going? If so which one?

Im looking into going to Indiana Bible College. I will be going there at the end of March for the "prospective student day". And I might be attending this fall.

I am planning on doing some bible college by correspondence next year.

It won't be a UPC college though. Most likely an AOG Bible College

ABI: - Go if God tells you to. There is a deep running anointing that seems to find some who attend the school. Other than that can't recommend it much.

CLC: - Its where I would go if I was very serious about ministry. Not because of the school, but because of CA. So much of how the nation trends is set in CA. They have a good music progem too.

Gateway: - Solid school, good place to go if you want to go on to work at HQ or go on to the Urshan grad school.

IBC: - Strong line up of teachers. But IMHO its somewhat of the party school. Good place to find a spouce atm.

TBC: - Another solid school, but doesn't seem to be as hip as IBC, Gateway or CLC.

Jackson and NNC: - I Know very little about either of these schools.

I don't know if this is reviving dead thread, but I just wanted to say that I'm attending Gateway, and its been and incredible expierence. You get what you put into it. I think its that way no matter where you go. We have awesome Theology (Biblical and Postoral emphasis) classes, Christian Ed as well as the best music director I've seen, Bro. Hoffee. There's plenty of opportunities for you to do any sort of ministry. I'm only 3 yrs old spiritually, this is my second semester here, and I must say, I've done more in my time here than I have ever thought I would. I have already "Treached" 3 full-length sermons to a home-missions church that has just started. I'm helping them out and supporting them until they get on their feet. I'm also helping another church by playing the drums for them, I've opened a service before for them and I try do my share of cleaning up around the place.

You get what you put in. You can put nothing into it, learn a little something from classes, but the expierence is just magnified when you don't let college life hinder your life outside of school!

I'm going out to Gateway in the fall, just wanted to echo that Drew Neal's post is pretty accurate. I'm pretty sure that Jackson is closing up this year though.

I can't decide if I want to go to Bible College or not, part of me wants to and part of me doesn't. I think I might go later on... But if and when I do go to Bible College I will go to IBC, I'll either go there or I won't go at all...even though TBC is only a few miles away...
