Then there's an awful lot of Chinese products that you'd better be ready to not purchase.

Technically, China has a mixed economy.

I have been listening way too much in World Geography.

Man when you guys even get a chance to go to korea....awwww
anyway check out a place called nag-won-sang-ga its a guitarist's dream world. MIK ibanez's and everything that's made in korea, also has mia,mij every major guitar company they sell. Its a 3 story building. The guitars take up nearly 80% of the space the others are drums, pa systems, and classical instruments. Its basically a big mall but for guitars.
I happily but my boss gt-8 there 100-200 cheaper than buying it here in canada.

Right you are. Anyways, I don't like China either.
Back on World Geography, we had to read some article about how China is going to take over the world...

I'll keep that in mind. I've actually stopped in Korea a couple times (on my way to other countries).

I've seen this site before and it offers a good side-by-side of the MIM Standard vs. the MIA Standard/Series Strats.......but it is no longer current. Fender has recently updated the MIM Standard series with medium-jumbo frets, and full body shielding. The limited edition 60th Anniv. model has Tex-Mex pick ups. The regular line still has the ceramic magnet pick ups. I'm a bit surprised (and disappointed) that the MIM Standard FMT is still listed with vintage style frets.
