I will fight to show the near perfection of
Munich,
Capote, and
Good Night and Good Luck until the end. In all honesty, I believe Crash to be the weakest of all of those films.
I also thought
A History of Violence was much better than given credit for, but perhaps that is the Oscars repeating themselves by staying as far away from Cronenberg as possible (A best supporting actor nod? come on!). Also, I thought
Match Point should have been nominated for many more things other than Best Screenplay. It was really a great movie, and I'm not just saying that because I worship Woody Allen.
