Old-School Nickelodeon

Did anyone else grow up on and love the old Nick shows? Shows like Are You Afraid of the Dark, Rocco's Modern Life, Ah! Real Monsters, Wild and Crazy Kids, Double Dare, (old) Rugrats, (old) Doug, The Adventures of Pete and Pete, Hey Arnold!. All those shows were amazing. Too bad that the channel has degenerated to what it is now.

Oh man... When I was little those were the greatest shows ever... Especially "Are You Afraid of the Dark?"

And what was "Ah! Real Monsters" about again? I recognize the name, but can't remember ever watching it...

Thank you Sean, for remembering probably the best old nick show, Salute Your Shorts.

Those shows were great. Remember that one show about the girl who could turn into a liquid like substance? Samantha Mack or somthing.

Peat and Pete was great. what ever happend to the guy that played the older Pete?

those were the days, when you could actually watch show on tv and didn't have to see one strange Anime physco or stupid stupid stupid crap

I loved the competition shows. "Guts," "What Would You Do" and the one about the hidden temple were the best.

My sister was a contestant on "What Would You Do." She had to give a dog a bath.

Really? Interesting...

One of the satellite networks has a channel that shows reruns of Guts and Legends of the Hidden Temple all the time.

Don't forget about "Hey, Dude!" either! Those were some awesome shows. Yep, as was already mentioned, Nickelodeon Gas plays Legends of the Hidden Temple, Double Dare, and some of the other old gameshows all day long.

You know the world is a sad place when Danny Tamberelli (I probably butchered his last name.. sorry guys) has to be on a Wendy's commercial. Hahaha, has anyone else seen it?

Yeah, those shows were great. The only I remember about Guts is the crag, though. What else did they do on that show?
