Mmmm poetry

Ok so, since I'm very bored and since all the sudden people are posting poems and such (ok not really), I figured I'd "show off" one of my really bad poems. Enjoy

Whisper
A whisper
A lull in the silence
A stirring in the ear...

What did you hear?

The senses lie, my friend...

What was that you said?

Heark, listen closer
Draw forth unto me
Words of passion drip sibiliantly from my lips
Slither on the floor
These truths, they bind so tight...

What versimilitudes speak in the night?

I tell you I told you
I speak importantly;

You refuse to listen.
You shut your eyes, you fasten your lips
Silence doth reach upon deaf ears

Screams would not pierce your pride
Nor your faith, not even your ambition

Perhaps that is what keeps you alive.

No, it's not bad at all. It's actually quite good. And captivating, in a way.

Good job.
