Mom says that we should sing "Amazing Grace" to the tune of Beach Boys "Fun, Fun, Fun Till Her Daddy takes her T Bird away." At least that is what she has wanted to do. I do think that would cause a stir in the church. *innocent look*
| Oh, I'm sure that would create a stir, alright. I'm trying to work out those lyrics with that melody in my mind and it's just not working. I know! YOU AND YOUR MOM CAN DO IT DURING OFFERING!

| My sister (who like many people, has been planning her wedding long before the arrival of any sort of groom) wants Kiss Me at her wedding. Kiss Me + Conservative Mennonites = Consternation.

Today is the day of questions, I think. Because I am jsut feeling like asking questions. And I really don't want to fix my typo of the word "just". So I won't. |

| Small! That is a great song. Well worth the consternation in my opinion.
Jason! I am mucho glad. I hope you will tell me your exact procedure.
Andrew! You have not been typing well lately.
Art! Two words: Orange and Muddle. You would maybe be a good test subject for Jason.

I loved yesterday.
My stomach is growling and all hollowy feeling.
God's Word is amazing. For every answer I find, I pick up two or three new questions to go along with it.
I do a lousy job of staying in touch with people. The demands seem overwhelming at times. It makes this extrovert want to grab a volleyball and head to the nearest deserted island.
Our pastor was just diagnosed with diabetes. So people have stopped bringing food to our class. This is dumb. Diabetics are allowed to eat. It's just going to take a bit more effort. But, no. Let's make him feel self-conscious instead.
I hope our weather today is as beautiful as it was yesterday. If not, that's okay, too.

They would all be better off following a diabetic diet all the time themselves. Instead, they are going to make him feel like he's responsible for taking away something that others enjoy. You can straighten them out, right? WOW! Happy Birthday, Sally!

I cannot make that Status: bold. Luke disallowed HTML in those areas. Because Twig was being awesome and Luke couldn't stand it that someone else was cooler than him. |

| I don't think I remember what your voice sounds like.

I am making that one soup from that one thread.
My summer is filling up faster than I'd like.
No one answered the question in Jason's thread about taking pre-purchased snacks into the movie theater. Do you do this? I really want to know.
I have come to the end of my rope and I'm throwing in the towel on some issues. I feel quite liberated.
Our worship set would have gone well yesterday except for the crazy, poorly timed drum fill-ins. Oh.my.stars. If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ.

| Mrs. D, I saw you online at something like 5:30 your time this morning. You are an early riser. I said that in Mara's blog and now I am saying it in yours.
I MIGHT HAVE AN AWESOME JORB FOR THE SUMMER!!!!!!

| It involves a few different things.
I have a friendship that has moved from close to strained and it's okay now. I can't help when paths veer. I gave it my best. Maybe we'll enjoy that again one day.
I need to revamp my scripture memory. It's not working and it's too important to me to allow myself the frustration. It's going to take a lot more time than I would like to admit. Sometimes I get stuck in old ways of doing things or stuck in someone else's way of doing things. I'm unsticking myself.
I am going to be more clear with people about needing help. I don't ask for help. And I can't be good at everything. I have an incredibly strong streak of idealism that keeps me captive. I am capable of almost anything, but I don't need to be good at everything. I just want to settle into my niche and be happy for everyone else settling in theirs and then let myself say, "Hey, I need some of your niche, if you don't mind."
Closely related to this, I am not going to agree to do things just because I'm good at them. Takes too much time. I have no trouble saying no. I can do that easily. I just get asked constantly and it wears me out.
That was more than anyone probably needed to know. I have more towels to throw. HA.
