Stewmac stuff came today! The 20x12 sheet of pickguard material is a lot more than i thought... That's good. Everything looks good.

I'm out of town for a week, so next week should be the finishing stages!

Pictures coming tomorrow. The holes for the pole pieces don't line up right anywhere. I emailed Stewmac.

I have some wiring questions. When connecting the tone pot to everything, is there a wire from a volume lug to a tone lug? SD's diagrams say differently. Here is my thinking: Will it work?

P.S. Sorry for the crappy diagram, I had to make it fast.

B= bridge pup
M= middle pup
N= neck pup
C= common

V= volume pot
T= tone pot

And you know the "ground" sign.

THe input is useally ran of the tone pot not the volume pot and the wire were your pickups going to the volume lug is useally were you take a wier form taht and attach it to your tone and then from the tone to the input.

I think your capacitator is wierd wrong to there's a coupel things on tehre that dont seem right to me but we'll see waht some other people say.

That's how my cap was wired before. I'm revising the diagram... Hang on.

EDIT: I think this new diagram will work.

yeah, looking at the tone pot you'd think it wouldn't work, yet i checked things out, and it works. as a low-pass filter, the cap and resistor (or a pot in this case) are in parrallel, and although the wiring looks wierd, it works.
