| Snowboarding is for people who don't want to put the effort into skiing. Besides Skiing is way more technical compare four edges to two. Ha!

| Any recomendations of models or brands for a person who would like to try it but doesn't live close enough to a mountain but has hills close by and doesn't want to spent much? |

| I both ski and board...I think I like skiing more. I may be biased, though. I've skied longer. I get too tired of falling on my butt all the time so I take back the rental board and get some skis. I'd say it's all good, though! BLACK DIAMOND ALL THE WAY!!

| There's a good question...what is the origin of snowboarding? How did it come about? Was it an accident? Hmm.... |

It's pretty interesting.

| yeah snowboarding!!!
I love it. You just try skiing on this side of the U.S.! Us in the Cascades and Rockies know what real snow is all about, It's pathetic watching skiiers try to go through 2 feet of powder, while us snowboarders are loving it! |

| I've only snow boarded once. I think snowboarding just looks way cooler then skiing. I would totally snowboard more if I had the chance!

| I hate skiiers soooooo bad. They think they are cool skiing down the hill all gracefully while us snowboarders (WHICH IS SOOO MUCH HARDER THAN SKIING) fall on our butts!
