I've only played it plugged a little bit but I'm initially impressed.

The system is called ES Blue, which is derived from Taylor's regular ES system. It's all internal without any ugly volume or tone sliders sticking out. They claim around 30 hours of plugged time per 9V. Tone has been locked in since Taylor developed the system. Output is balanced line-level so you should be able to do a nice clean long run to the mixer without any DI coloring.

It find it has an excellent dynamic sensitivity, really picks up subtle changes, and tone reproduction is very good. It might be slightly brighter than the raw acoustic tone (and I mean very slightly), but that could simply be something else in my living room setup. It will be interesting to hear it played through some different amps and speakers.

It sounds a whole lot better than the Fishman Classic 4 in my other a/e, but then again its also in a much better guitar than the Fishman
