Urgent prayer request - St. John's (Shaughnessy) Vestry Meeting on Thursday

Hey folks,

St. John's is having our vestry meeting on Thursday. We are making a decision on some very weighty issues as to how to move forward with staying true to the Gospel under the authority of our diocesan "bishop", Michael Ingham. I very much doubt any of you who are regular posters in this forum are unfamiliar with Bp. Ingham, but in case you are, just google his name to get a sense of some of the issues we have with him.

We are considering joining the Anglican Communion in Canada (ACiC), which may necessitate us walking apart from the authority of Bp. Ingham. Pray that we will make wise decisions guided by the Spirit.

I did. I actually expected that you would find my post in the prayer request forum first, and the one in the Anglican forum second. Since (to my knowledge) you are not Anglican. I didn't expect you would come in here. *grin*
