| Stranger Than Fiction was good. I liked it.
Me and skateboarding don't get along well. |

| Yes. I didn't actually have to eat any of those. I wisely decided to wait until we were at our cousins house and then had a supper of cake and ice cream. Quote: |
That's awfully annoying though, now that you mention it. Hahaha.

Not particularly, no. Did anything awesome happen to you?
| YES! Judging from what Small said I think that was the day my little brother was born. [/whisper] |

One woman laughed very loudly at everything we did that performance, except the time when I came out the back and round to the front by way of a side aisle, so I was directly by her when I started singing. That time she jerked, gasped, may have let out a little shriek (I forget) and only then commenced laughing at 8,000,000 decibels. Does it normally cost you money? Quote: |
Awww! *laugh* I'm sorry. How is she doing? How is the baby?
| She's home and doing excellently. The baby is probably getting very annoyed with being passed from sister to impatient sister all the day long. "THIS IS ANDERSON COOPER, UNDER FIRE!" I thought it was just because I refused to cover one of their songs with the band, but I guess I was wrong.
| Wow. Which song of theirs? *hyena laugh* Quote: Not as far as you know. *shifty* | !!

Isn't that the point of a glovemittenthing?

Wow. That's hilarious. Haha.

I didn't get pinched because I made sure that no one in my house remembered that it was Saint Patrick's Day. Green pants sound awesome.
| That's just sad. Saint Patrick's Day is so cool. I can't believe you purposely squelched a holiday just to avoid getting pinched by your emerald-clad family. When were talking about, again? Quote: |
Oh, yeah, I remember now!

| Here's a thrown-together bio of my band. What do you guys think? Does it sound alright? The Final Pardon, a four piece indie/rock band from the Ames area, is possibly the newest local band to hit stages across central Iowa. With honest lyrics, driving melodies, and a hard-hitting message, they earned second place at the 2006 Blinks Battle of the Bands and have played along side popular local bands Atombender, Keep and Confess, and others. But it's not all about the stage and the small-town fame that comes with it. "I want to reach out to people...I want to convey a message to people and show them Christ's love and identify with them. I don't want to be a cool person in a band, because I'm just like anyone else," says lead singer Mara Dickens. "We're not trying to be rock stars, we're small-town high schoolers who love their God, and who love the people around them, and we want to bring those two things together."
So, there'll be more, but that's what I have for now. Let me know what you guys think. Sorry I've been so bad at posting this week. *laugh* I've been busy, and I didn't expect that exactly.
Love you guys! |

| *Drops in out of nowhere* I like your band's bio as well. It makes you guys sound really cool and it's not boring. Thumbs up.

| Thanks, guys. Yeah, it feels really weird to write a bio about your own band. It's so over the top sounding. *laugh* Whatever.
Definitely condensed responses:
Spring break was this last week. It was good.
Taylor and skateboarding make me laugh a little.
Money and whipped topping are two wonderful things.
Days when baby brothers are born are also great!
Raw sewage. *shudder*
St. Patrick's Day isn't my favorite, because I don't really have any green clothes.
Askance is a funny word.
Thanks, Rachelle!
Hey, Saz! Thanks for dropping in. You're like, the blog ninja, dropping in from nowhere. Crazy.
Well! That wasn't so bad!
Hi guys. I'm tired and I can't find Emily. And I need to plan what I'm wearing to church tomorrow. Pastor Gabe is preaching again. That's cool. I'm going to go now, I think. Yeah. Bye and stuff! |

Hey, Saz! Thanks for dropping in. You're like, the blog ninja, dropping in from nowhere. Crazy. | Haha. Well...I've never had enough of a band to worry about writing a bio for them. Although...I currently have a class/project band that's at least recorded a song. So I guess that counts for something.
...You know what's ironic? Jeff, this guy in my youth group, has been telling everyone I take ninja and therefore am a ninja. And apparently, they all believe him. I just found what you said to be very fitting, all things considered.

Actually... here's a few quick notes. I'll just... re-write it for you. The Final Pardon, a four piece indie rock band from the Ames area, is the best new band on planet Earth. With killer lyrics, sick guitar riffs and a message that will melt your face and soul, this band rocks the mic like a vandal; however, this band is not all about the glory. "I want to to make people wish they were more awesome... I want to convey a message to people, and show them Christ's love and identify with them. I want to be a cool person in a band, which I am. Because I am not like anyone else," says lead singer Mara Dickens. "We are rock stars in a small town, which is hard, considering we are small-town high schoolers who love their God. We just want to blow up the scene and make some benjamins."
I will have you know that took a lot of work. |

I have to say, I'm with him on the matter. *grin*
HI MAWAH! I maded us some shrimp-fredo and shells for dinner. It is good with a little root beer.
I forgot to wear green on St. Patty's Day, mostly because I lost track of the days. Hahaoops. You could've always done what other kids I knew in HS did and draw shamrocks and little green hearts on their hands and cheeks. It is a handy way to show your green without having to wear it.

| Hahaha. That is funny. My sister is a ninja because she takes ninja. She could probably kick your butt. But I don't really know, because you've been a ninja longer than she has. So you could probably kick hers. We should just schedule it and have you two hash it out to see. Quote:

| No, but I can easily whip up some more if you want! It's almost the easiest recipie evarrr! And it doesn't even have to be shrimpfredo. Observe:
Step 1: Cook pasta.
Step 2: Heat oil in same pot. Cook mushrooms and onion and garlic.
Step 3: Add meat, veggies, and cream of whatever soup. Stir. Add a bit of milk and a little pasta sauce or salsa if desired. Stir some more.
Step 4: Add cooked pasta. Stir yet again. Serve. Eat. Enjoy.
See? Easy peasy! *grin* Quote: |
True, true. I should have done that. Haha.
| Hah, ditto me that. Maybe we can both draw tiny green hearts on our cheeks tomorrow to make up for it? Quote: |
I know! We should stick him in a box so he never leaves again.
| He's already stuck in a box for roughly 12 hours a day, four days a week. It's called an ambulance.
*rimshot*
So now that Art made me continually delurk, what's goin' down, Mawah? *winkety*

Nothing gets you more indie cred than having only a bunch of nerdy homeschoolers know who you are.
That would be...interesting. I've actually been looking for a sparring partner, but...not sure that's really all that practical in this case.
