Girls In Diners

hey guys. I'm in a band, Girls In Diners based in Greenville Illinois. We're all students at Greenville College.
We formed at the beginning of the fall semester, i just joined the band before break. so we have only been together for about 5 months but we've already played numerous shows and are currently talking to some labels and booking agencys and what not. so yeah, check it out.

I'm liking what I'm hearing quite a bit. Lead singer has a fantastic voice, there's some fantastic keyboard melodies, and some lovely drumming. Great stuff.

Check out the songs from the new CD.

The things we laugh and joke about
Are the things we scream and shout about
And the things we rip and tear apart
Are the things we held closest to our heart.

dire news. Girls In Diners has broken up. Out singer and bass player left for personal reasons and we just haven't been able to pull it together. Our drummer is not committed now, he doesn't show up for practice, is never available to practice and doesn't seem interested in keeping the band going. So, that leaves just Karl and I. We're not saying it's done forever, but for right now we can't do anything because we lost the best musicians in our band.

There will be new bands springing from this. Karl started an Alt-Country project and Jon (drummer) and I have been talking and we're both into hardcore music (yes, we were the black sheep of the band lol) and we both want to play music again so something might come of that next semester.

Ok, so there's a little news from the Girls In Diners camp. We've started practicing and writing again. Nothing big in mind, we're just planning on a reunion show and seeing where it goes from there. It's looking very promising though.
