You call the law enforcement office (city police, state hwy. patrol, etc.) that issued it to find out.

I reckon that would depend on the offense. A DWI at night without headlights going 25mph over the speed limit down the wrong side of the road will certainly be more than simply speeding.

Well I can't think of where it would find a better home - so it stays for now. As long as it doesn't require much food and doesn't sit around all day in its underwear watching television, I'm fine.

Bingo.

So what'd ya do, anyways? And in what town or county?

[random info] On the intersection next to my college with the camera signs, running a red light is upwards of $300, but I don't think that is the same in every town. Driving in a carpool lane in the Bay Area is $270-something. That's all I know offhand. The littler things like parking in the wrong zones or street cleaning will depend on where you did them. And then there's the fix-it tickets, which can be cleared if you show evidence in court. [/random info]

...yeah, usually you can tell which lane to drive in. It's all about safety, you know?

I have a *BAD* feeling this post is on it's way to the CPF for some reason.
