Wrong! For the most part at least.

Nothing in the geek code says we're socially inept. We tend to prefer our pursuits over human interaction but we aren't inept.
Neither are we single-minded (as a rule). we have all different interests. Usually in the realm of media imported from Japan or Science Fiction (and taking it to a scary extreme). Bonus points for having both.
We are meticulous in our endeavors making sure the subtlest of details are satisfactory. This lends itself to our accomplishments in science, math, and music.
