| In our church it would have to be a character from Shakespeare's play "A comedy of errors". We have a Spanish mission church that uses the building, then our church, and on Tuesday nights there is a group of youth that has no church to meet in so now uses ours. (Oh, I forgot to mention that since Katrina there has been a mission group using the building as a staging area to go out into the community and help with tearing out moldy wallboard, etc) I can't tell you how many times the communication falls apart and there are 3 or 4 things scheduled at the same time. Our building is small, there is actually only one true classroom, the others are just divided by pulling a curtain across the middle of the fellowship hall. So many times we have looked like chickens with our heads cut off trying to pack up one thing so another group can come in. Somehow though, it always works out in the end and everyone (even if they get frustrated) has learned that it's much more pleasant to laugh about it then let it bother them. |
