My wife and I like to go camping. We used to camp when our kids were growing up and had our camper set up at one place. Now the kids all grown and moved out of the house we bought a different camper and tow it just on the weekends. We love the outdoors and getting away from the house and phone.

I have been camping several times, and I really like it. The only problem with camping is when torrential rain floods the campsite, or the campground owners kick you out because you took someone else's spot, even though they told you that it wasn't taken. Ahhh, the memories.

Camping should be required for all families. There is nothing better. And it gives you a HUGE appreciation for fancy hotel vacations.

Camping kind of stinks in Iowa. Our summers are horrid with their stifling humidity. And the mosquitoes are obese bloodmongers.

ug we have awful mosquitos. I go to the mountains so its cold at night and i can get in my sleeping bag without sweating to death.

Hey has anyone camped on the beach? that seems like it would stink. All the sand.

I think it sounds great. Nice and squishy for sleeping. But I haven't ever, so I'm no help.

I have always wanted to do the Grand Canyon rafting/camp in caves and on sandbars trip. That sounds incredibly awesome.
