American History X

I saw this nearly a week ago and it's still bothering me.

Ed Norton is a seriously incredible actor.

Mmm. I love this movie. I still occasionally think about scenes and get the chills.

I really need to see it again. I keep thinking about the first scene and the curb slam scene and a lot of the other more disturbing scenes and find myself feeling really sad. It was one of the most powerful film experiences I've had.

Great movie. I've had it in my DVD collection for awhile now.

I don't like this movie as much as I used to, but it is very powerful and moving. Very well-done. Ed Norton gave an amazing performance.

the most powerful part of the movie is the reality of it, ill never understand the mind of a racist, there so many storys in a place in huntington beach (where it takes place) that are just identical, so many people have destroyed themselves through hate,

i also enjoyed how it still portrayed the skinheads as people, with families and emotions, and the 2 sided racsim of it

Massive revival.
I finally watched this, incredible. It is honestly a moving film, Edward Norton was amazing. I already knew my fair share about skinheads, being close to the punk scene, but this film really portrays how deep this kind of skinhead BS goes.
Man, it just boggles my mind, the ending,

Incredible film. It's really stuck with me.

Edward Norton and Edward Furlong were both terrific, but the performance that really caught me by surprise (even though he really only had one scene from memory) was that of William Russ as their father. I'm so used to seeing him as the father from Boy Meets World that his character and performance in this creeped me out more than a bit.

I totally agree, as soon as a his scene began, I was like "thats the Boy Meets World dad!".
It was hard to see him as a different character, a rather dark character.
