First things first, pray, ask for forgiveness, and you will be forgiven!!!!

9If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Start to spend time with God. Read His word. If we love someone we want to spend time with them so, if we love God, we should want to spend time with him.

Look for a Church, one you can connect with and one that teaches the word of God. We shouldn’t neglect the fellowship with other believers.

Hebrews 10
25Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Love the lord your God with all your heart, and love others as you love yourself.

Matthew 22
37Jesus replied, " `You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.'[e] 38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39A second is equally important: `Love your neighbor as yourself.'[f] 40All the other commandments and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments."

If you do this, you are doing what God wants you to do, it’s that simple! If you wish to worship God with your guitar playing that’s great go ahead and do it, you don’t have to be perfect to do so. You don’t even have to be in a praise band or Church to worship you can worship right where you are!

When you find a Church, if you have an interest in playing guitar for the congregation, let them know! Most Churches are more than happy to have people who want to be involved.

Don’t beat yourself up too bad over your period of rebellion just stop, and come back God is faithful and WILL forgive you for EVERYTHING no matter how bad you might think it is. Your Father loves you and wants to spend time with you, he loves you so much he sent his son to find you and even had him crucified to cover your sins. Thank Him, rejoice and be happy, the one who is inside you is greater than all things in heaven or on earth, and you will share an inheritance with Him…
