Collecting Seashells!

This is definitely not as intense as some of the other topics in this forum... but does anyone else love to collect seashells? One summer when I was probably 5 or 6 my fmaily went to Galveston Island and the whole trip we looked for seashells that had small holes at their tops. When we got back to the beach house at the end of the day, we put them all on strings and made seashell necklaces and bracelets. That's just one idea of the many things you can do with the seashells you have collected. What else have y'all done with seashells?

EDIT: I'm not sure if this should be move to collectibles or not...

I don't really collect seashells, although I have been to many a beach. I do like to look for weird or unusual shells, rocks and other odd things.

I have been collecting seashells my entire life. I have always found them mysterious and beautiful and intriguing. I probably have thousands of seashells (lots of small ones, and a few rare larger ones), and I treasure each one of them. I enjoy having them everywhere (at work, in my room, car, bathroom, etc..) because their beauty reminds me of God's awesomeness and endless creativity.

I love rocks and seashells, been collecting them forever! I posted in a 'rock' thread that I collect both, but that I think when I moved out, I gave them to my little brother to make space. If not, I sitll have them in storage.
