well i finally bought it, for $200.00!!! He said he just won't give me a christmas present now cause the amp is a "christmas present." A big one at that. Thats right, everything he payed $750.00 for is mine for $200.00 and he picked his bass up probably less than 10 times, so its like brand new. And its mine, kind of ugly, but its mine.

Great price for nearly any bass+Peavey Amp.

Man, I love my Peavey amp...the 12" gets loud and deep, but the 10" I use at school (or is it 8") is just too high for my tastes...I mean, definately not the amp to play the bass part of Lord of the Dance for...

But yeah, good things about Peaveys...

I had a late '80's Peavey Foundation with single coils and loved it for the most part. That sucker was one tough bass. When I was playing at church every Sunday, I could occasionally go a week or two without having to even tune it (really! - depending on enviromental conditions, and yes, I did have an electronic tuner). The single coil p'ups had this GROWL that only single coil p'ups will give you. The only thing I hated about it was that it looked pretty dorky. Actually, I still have it, but I converted it to a fretless with a new Warmoth neck.

Send us a pic!

Congrats on the new bass. Peavey makes some pretty solid stuff. One of the guys at church has a Peavey Fury 5 string that Ive played a couple of times.Built like a tank, and sounds pretty good too.

I played a Fender Precision for 25 years, and have just gone back to playing bass again, so I needed a new guitar. I went into the Bass centre in Denmark Street, London (Tin Pan Alley) and was shown a Peavey Millenium for £169 sterling - it felt great, terrific action, so I bought it. I've just seen a review in a guitar magazine which called it a great guitar for beginners, so now I don't know what to think!!!! It does feel good, it's got a good punchy sound at mid-volume, but I haven't tried it at full rock level yet.
