A part of me kind of wants that, but... the other part says "you fool - do you have any idea what abominations Lucas could commit if he actually remade the entire OT??!!"

That said, without a doubt, remaking them with today's technology would be amazing. But sacrificing the original cast and thinking what Lucas might do the story and the movies overall?... I think I'd have a hard time being convinced that it would be a worthy endeavor.
