Johnny Depp was the reason I LOVED the first movie. I saw the original trailer, and thought it looked retarded. But we were in Toledo, and I hadn't seen a movie in like 5 months, so I convinced my parents to take me to see a movie. POTC was the only one with a decent rating, and didn't look like full of sex and crap. So we saw it, my dad laughed hysterically and my mom said, and I quote, "Oh that guy who played Captain Sparrow, he's a fine human specimen." And I said, "WHAT?!?!?!" She replied, "Oh you girls are calling it "hott" now i believe." It was rather disturbing, but I fell in love with the movie, and it came out on dvd two days before my birthday in 2003, so I got that for my birthday after much begging and pleading on my part.

The second one is looking better and better each day, I just like to watch the screen and pet it lovingly when Johnny Depp comes onto it.

it would be accomplishing a great feat if this one were as good as the first. the first was one of my fav movies. I hope they don't ruin it. the preview looks good, though.

well i'm not completely sure if he is appearing in #2 but i know he'll be in #3... he is an extra, but he is a higher up extra so he may even have a speaking role... *shock*
