Well, the books that I learned with were "Alfred's Basic Adult Piano Lessons" or something like that........ maybe "Alfred's Adult Basic Lessons for Piano" or "Basic Adult Piano Lessons by Alfred" or something, but that's what it was. I found it worked pretty well............ I don't think you'll get lost in the intro, and it works you up to pretty decent sounding stuff pretty quick. It also does quite a bit with chords and how to play with them, which is essential for playing P&W music.
Besides method books, I would recommend going to a local music store and looking for books that match the kind of styles you want to play......... you should be able to find blues, jazz, rock, country, classical, etc piano books at any decent sized music store. If you want to play mostly praise and worship........ I'd probably recommend getting a "Rock" keyboard book. Hope this helps...... try looking at
www.musiciansfriend.com and
www.sheetmusicplus.com....... those both have tons of music books that you could look through. Hope this helps......
