It's been a while since I have tested my range. It used to be pretty insane...

Have you been using your voice lately? Not using it frequently can really hurt your range and tonal quality. I haven't warmed up for like a week, and my range is probably a good 4 or 5 whole steps smaller, it's less strong than it is if I have been using it a lot, and my tonal quality sucks right now. Fortunately, it's only been a week, instead of a couple of months, and it'll only take a few days of consistently warming up to get it back to where it needs to be.

On a piano, it's the F# to G above middle C (on a good day. Not after tonight when I yelled at a basketball game). to a Ab/A an octave below middle C.

Oh yeah. I'm a tenor in my school choir and a bass at church choir. And I sing lead in a quartet style or solo setting.

Whoops, I hit the backspace key accidentally and my stuff I typed are gone.

I'll retype...

WOH, FUR!! I'm sure you mean the 8th fret!!... I'm dizzy!! Proof, I need proof!!

If you can do that, I'm gonna laugh and freak out at the same time:
AAHAHAAAAAAAHHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAHHAHAHAHAHAAAAAH!

Well, for me, I reach 3 octaves. Eb, 1/2 step below low E on guitar to somewhere around E, 12th fret on high E on guitar.
Ok, maybe realistically just 2 1/2 octaves.

Which F#? The lowest guitar string on the second fret? Not bad for a tenor And in chest voice I can reach that G if I strain a little

No, I can really go that high I can go higher than most girls I know But that's using falsetto, and most girls don't use falsetto.

I can sing a low E below the bass clef on good days, and I can always hit the G (lowest line note on bass clef), and without falsetto I can reach the G or so above middle C. With falsetto, I'm not sure exactly how high I can go but in high school my total range was well above three octaves.

I'm not sure of my lowest but I can hit A above treble clef now I think.

I can go *use* about down to D (drop D on guitar) and then *use* about a D above tenor C if I'm careful... I've hit as high as the C above Soprano C but that's this falsetto screaming thing I do and I can't use it at all. I have no control up there whatsoever.

On the piano, I sing from a low D to a high G...I'm an alto, yeah Occasionally our tenors get really really lazy so I fill in a part for them

I'm a baritone. I think the highest I can hit is an F. I don't know on piano, but on a guitar, it's the high E string, first fret. Possibly a G.

I've made a bit of progress since I last posted.
Chest voice is good from C (an octave below middle C) up to A# above. Head voice is pretty solid up to an E, and I can squeak up to a G on a good day.

Slowly making progress. *grin*

I can hit C (on octave below middle c), up to a high C. I know it's a crazy vocal range. The only bad things is I'm not a good singer. The high C is mostly head voice. My chest voice is good from C 1 ocatve below middle C, to one octave above middle C. After that, i'm into my head voice.
