Christmass movies/shows Good or Bad

i dont know if anyone has ever thought of this but are Christmass movies and shows good or bad it kinda both good in the sense of it bein family freindly but some christmass shows have brought sucide on some ppl who dont have a family that loves them and others have just been so depresed they thought of sucide so are these movies or shows good or bad its kinda wired if u ask me

Something cannot be said to be good or bad because of its effects. It has to be judged on its content and intentions. I am sure we could all think a few inventions that were used in ways there designers could never have imagined, think Wright Brothers and Hiroshima. It is the same with films, and shows. Christmas movies can not be sad to be bad because they show something good.

If a Christmas movie makes someone commit suicide then I think there are deeper issues there than just a feel-good movie.

No one in the history of the world has ever committed suicide because of a Christmas movie or because they listened to Black Sabbath or because their church added drums. A deeply troubled person might overeact in response to one of these things, but this is certainly not because these things are inherently evil.

i wasent sayin ther evil its just some ppl see Complete happines (wich only existes in God) but the movies dont point that out and so some ppl who dont have any happiness in theire lives feel so depressed they decide to end their life. and 1 quesen who would kill themselves over drums bein in a church?

I get what you're saying. The simple fact is that someone that has so little happiness in their life that they would kill themself has serious issues. Christmas movies have little to nothing to do with their issues. A person that is suicidal can be set off by anything. When I use the word anything, I literally mean ANYTHING. Yes that means church, cookies, and love from other people. Someone that is suicidal has serious problems that need to be treated seriously. Claiming Christmas movies or Ozzy Osbourne music is the cause of some suicides is flat out offensive. Its an absurd cartoon of a serious problem. We need to take people that commit suicide seriously and not look for simple solutions (such as movies, video games and music) and start looking to the real cause of their mental instability.

Thats my entire point. You should question the situations leading to suicide in any of those cases. The cause of the suicide is infinately more complicated than simply blaming Christmas movies.

P.S. "Quesen" is not a word. I assume you meant "question" but you were so completely far off, I'm not sure. You need to proof read your posts.

im not realy blaming movies 100% im just saying it adds to the problem and Ozzy dosent kill ppl cause u listen to it thats just what the goverment tells ppl (movies dont either they just add to their depression) Ozzy make some ppl happier cause someone else is experince the same stuff they are but ur right in saying its not the movie its them thats what i was tryin to say it just didnt come out right so i hope this clears things up 4 u.

Ps. i sometimes type to fast and misspell words so sorry for that.
