On Solid Ground personally my fav that is considerably heavy. Basically depends on what genre of heavy you are looking towards... metalcore being not so heavy but very good with the devil wears prada, august burns red, as i lay dying. deathcore and deathmetal is where it gets heavier with impending doom, on solid ground, at battles end, the twelfth amethyst, from the shallows or with lighter versions of deathcore which are really good: for today, see the light, get up texas, the gun show, earth from above. then goregrind which is possibly the heaviest I know of.. with bands such as rogers met an iranian, or vomitorial corpulence although not my favorite genre but not bad.

Heres a list of Christian bands some mainstream some underground all the way from post-hardcore to goregrind (very few goregrind as i do not care much for that genre but a lot of the rest) that are personally my favorite. Check em out!

Mercy Screams, MAN UP! Nancy, Here Between, Farewell to a Legend, Centuries Apart, Blood of the Martyrs, I Built the Cross, Texas In July, Get Up Texas, From the Shallows, Adelaide, Hematidrosis,On Solid Ground, Roger Met An Iranian, From Hell to Eternity, Milosny, My Heart to Fear, Dividing the Masses, Onward To Olympas, Watch for the Day, Electrified, Your Memorial, Creations, The Advocate, Floodgates, Agraceful, Here I Come Falling, Venia, Means,Every Word a Prophecy, Misery Chastain, Solemn Vow, Black Rose Mourning, Darkness Before Dawn,The Burial, Sleep Now Sivylla, Camisado, Sounds Like Dinosaurs, The Gun Show, Tremble Oh Earth, Burn the Ruins, By Blood and Fire, The Twelth Amethyst, Tempest of Torment, As Hell Retreats, The Crimson Armada, Dead in Existence, Hail the Blessed Hour, A Bullet for Pretty Boy, Saving Grace, Behold the Man, The Closure, Settle the Sky, A Thousand Times Repent, Through Fallen Skies, A Hero Remains,In the Midst of Lions, The Blood Reckoning, The Great Commission, Demorior, My Autumn (russian band), Norma Jean, Oh, Sleeper,For Today, Earth From Above, Underneath The Gun, Until I Breathe, Bleed the Same,xGUMBYx (experimental band by the devil wears prada) With Blood Comes Cleansing, The Devil Wears Prada, August Burns Red, As I Lay Dying, Underoath, mychildren mybride, Impending Doom, Mortal Treason, Face the Fallen, With His Blood, We Stand Redeemed, We Sail at Dawn, The Cleansing Epidemic, romero, Rise With Honor, Reign in the Unknown, Our Faith Our Solitude, Our Dying Valor, One Last Rose, My Solemn Vow, mouth of the south, As Hell Retreats.

All very good Christian bands worth checking out. There is even more out there!!! Hopefully that will help get away from the norma jean, impending doom, project 89 bands tho that I keep seeing popping up on this thread. Here is a great website I recently found that will help you find some great Christian underground bands that aren't very well known christianmetalsource (google it since it won't let me post a link) CHECK IT OUT!!! It will give you some good stuff!!

Undersecretary As I Lay This goes at the end I wish I could give more, but that's all I know. There's a lot more than I have read, only that we can not list them out of my head.

wow... I'm old enough my "heavy" collection is XL/Death Before Dishonor, Killed by Kain, Precious Death (funk metal, not that heavy), and Stavesacre (actually working on a cover of Threshold right now)...

I haven't even heard of most of the stuff in this thread!
