I don't go there but my Aunty and Uncle do and i have been there before and attended the conference and my parents know a couple of the pastors there.
That being said i have in fact read a manual, which originated from Hillsong but had been adapted by another church and is now being used at my church, tis manual encompasses the responsibilities etc of employees.
One of the things it mentioned was something along the lines of, that it expects employees to take care of their body physically. Things specifically where sleeping right, eating right etc etc. They were more guidelines for good living rather than a blanket statement that you must go to the gym.
It is amusing because many people see those at Hillsong and say that they only have trendy people on stage all of whom look fairly similar, but having grown up in Sydney and having known people from the Hills area that is what a lot of people in that area look like. Not everyone but mostly. It is similar to the fact that you expect to see people who live on the Northern Beaches to often walk around in thongs and beachwear. This is sterotypical but it is based on truth.
Anyway, look at the music team, there are larger people on it. Lucy Fisher i believe is a larger lady with an excellent voice.
I couldn't tell you exactly if they make them go to the gym but i can tell you they promote healthy living patterns, something i think we should all promote.
