¡Es mi diario, y quiero un título español!

"No, Kenny, I don't wear glasses."

--------------------------------------

Anywho! Was told I should start a blog, so here it is! The wonderful adventures of... Um... Me! Er, Me-Man! Woot! Anyway, today has been okay, though I'm starting to get depressed. See, apparently I have a reputation for doing work well, as opposed to my siblings, so it seems I get extra work dumped on me because "I actually get it done well" or whatever. This is highly unfair, in my opinion, as I don't get any reimbursement of any sort. I know I should feel flattered, but when you're doing a bunch of small, irritating jobs that your siblings could be doing just as easily (I.e. cutting raw venison into strips), you just don't feel that way. It's hard to come to terms with this... It seems I get told to stay behind to do extra work with someone, because I "do it better" or something. Flattering as it may seem, it's not. I can't do something fun becasue I have to do something that I'd really prefer not to do. I've been praying that God will help me to do it cheerfully, as it's for His glory, but that's basically only started today, so I dunno how it'll turn out... Hopefully well. Anyone else can relate to this? I seem to miss out on fun stuff because I have to do work, while my siblings can go have fun, and I'm getting really aggravated by this. I don't want to tell my parents that I don't want to do extra work because I "do it well" or something, because of a few reasons:

1. It may not be true, and I may just be randomly unlucky in that respect
2. I do want to do it, as it pleases them when I obey 'em, so you know... I try to obey my parents as much as possible.
3. I don't want to be a letdown, and if I can do something better than others can, then I might as well do it so it gets done well...

I dunno... Advice? Suggestions? Anyone else feel the same? Tune in Friday for another blog post documenting Thursday and Friday! (Not allowed on on Tuesdays or Thursdays)

Hmm... Anything else? Oh yeah! I might be going to a Casting Crowns concert in March! I'm SO pumped about that! They're my favorite band of all time!

Ah, lemme see, had to put this in:

Just had a talk with Mom about it, and I'd say I'm basically over it. Sure, I have to do a little extra work, but, in her words, has she bought any of my siblings a $900 instrument? No... She just recently bought me a $900 guitar, which, in my opinion, is an INCREDIBLE blessing! A little history on that:

I've always wanted to play guitar, and got a starter kit on Christmas, 2004. Around nine-ten months into playing, I was at a prophetic worship service, and I felt God saying to me that He's anointed me to play guitar for Him, which, needless to say, is a REALLY REALLY cool idea for me! I LOVE guitar, and it's becoming one of my favorite things to do. At all. Anyway, Mom and Dad were saying how I'd probably get an upgrade soon, and I must say, I never expected this... God has TREMENDOUSLY blessed my life! Can't wait to see what He's got in store for me!

Well, here's the update for Thursday, as well as my bio!

Yesterday went off pretty well. I finished writing a song that I got inspired to write during worship at youth group on Wednesday. It sounds GREAT! This is definitely the best song that God has inspired me to write, or the best sounding one, in my opinion . It actually uses picking, and very few chords .

Anywho! A bit about me:

I'm fourteen, and I live in Virginia. I've played guitar since Christmas, 2004, and God has blessed my guitar playing tremendously. He has told me I'm anointed to play guitar for Him, and He's been showing it! I got a new guitar that I thought I'd NEVER get, or at least one of its quality. It's a major blessing. I am currently on the apprentice worship team for my youth group, and shall soon be on the official team for it. Hoping to get an electric guitar and an amp soon, dunno how, but God will provide. Anyway, enough of guitars! (Awwww, lol) Anyway, I'm a big gamer, and have been gaming for years. A few games I play(ed) are Runescape and America's Army. Both are really fun. Um... I have three siblings (Two brothers, one sister), ages sixteen (older brother), thirteen (younger sister), and four (youngest brother). I love Christian music, and my favorite bands are Casting Crowns, Third Day, and Newsboys. I also like DC Talk, Switchfoot, and a few others. Hmmm... Trying to remember if I'm missing out on anything... Ah, don't think so. I'll have a Friday report later, once Friday is done!

Alright! A SITREP on Friday! My best friend was able to sleep over! Woot! T'was cool, we played Hidden and Dangerous untill around 3 AM today, and when we woke up, we played it again . It's a really fun game, though I wouldn't nominate it as "least buggy game" or anything... Anyway, can't think of anything else at the moment... Well, there is one thing. It's unfortunate, but unavoidable... My parents are gone for a little while today, and won't be back till later, meaning I'm alone with my four year-old brother; my siblings are both at sleepovers. I have to stay here to watch him, instead of going to an abortion protest (Silent protest type) with my youth group at Planned Parenthood... Oh well.

Hi, DaGeek, yea, keep up a good blog here!

Hey, hope you'll forgive me for asking Ben a question in your blog. I saw a Poll for President with you (Ben) and kanga in and Bill and others but can't remember where it was - can you direct me? Thanks!

Lol, doesn't bother me .

Lemme see... AARP on Sunday!

Went to church, had fun, you know, the usual . Great time of worship. We got a new elder! He's an awesome guy, and I'm really glad he was affirmed as elder. After church, two friends came over, and I recorded a song with one of them, who was a lot better at singing than I am :P. Anyway, it sounds okay, but not amazing. Better than I could sing, hehe. Anyway, my two friends and my brother left for small group early, so they could paintball on the church property (We have like, 30 acres I think?). I went later on, and then small group started. I'm on the worship team small group as an apprentice; I'm not quite good enough with other people to play for people yet, heh. Haven't even played a year yet . So yeah, we sat around in a circle, with one person in the center, and prayed for them. We only had an hour and a half, so we could only get through around four or five people (Out of around ten I think). It wasn't only prayer, though. Sometimes, some of us would have pictures from God come to mind, and they'd say them, and if they didn't have an explanation, someone else was given one from Heaven. This happened a few times with me . God blessed me greatly yesterday by giving me words and pictures for people. What was REALLY cool, though, was that on one person we were praying over, I had the picture of an elephant come to mind. I was going to say it, but then I felt God saying it was for someone else. So on the next person, I asked God what the picture meant, and He gave me an explanation. From the explanation, I started thinking, Why not another animal that makes more sense?, but I said what God gave me anyway. What was REALLY awesome about this, was that a girl in the group, right after I said the picture, said that she was also given the picture of exactly the same animal! It was a different explanation of the picture, but it was still REALLY cool! I've never had that happen with me before

I know you sorted this out with your Mum, but don't you think it's a good thing that you have this 'reputation' for doing things well - being reliable, efficient, etc? And so honouring the Lord in so doing?

And what a BLESSING about 'that guitar'!!! Wow!

Thank you guys for the replies and the prayer

Thanksgiving should be fun! Now, for a blog of Wednesday:

I spent the night (Tuesday) at the house of a guy named Trevor (Adult). We went hunting Wednesday. We were supposed to wake up at 4:30, and I somehow did... Not sure exactly how, though. Anyway, he didn't come downstairs, so I went back to sleep. He came down at 5:30, and explained that he had woken up at 4:30, and turned off the clock, but he had thought it was a dream-like thing, and went back to bed, lol! So anyway, we went to the place we were supposed to get to, and he gave me a .35 caliber rifle, and he grabbed his .300magnum, and we climbed a very steep hill. We got up there, and sat down by a tree, and waited for deer. We saw one almost immediately, but it was out of range . So we're sitting there for a few hours... Basically not moving... Did I mention it's around thirty-five degree weather? :P I dressed warmly, but I still got pretty cold. Finally, he asks if I want him to go around the valley, and try to scare some stuff to me. I agreed, so he set off. I sat there for probably twenty minutes or so. My hands got SO cold, I eventually had to put in some little heating pads to keep them from going stiff . Anyway, I saw a deer. My heart started racing, with the whole "This is it! I get a deer today! Yay!" thing. It went halfway behind a tree, so I couldn't get a clear shot off at it. I was sitting there for a few minutes with my scope trained on it, when it moved in full view. Then I noticed that it was a really small deer. I later found out it's a yearling. But anyway, I didn't shoot it. It was too small :\. So yeah, the rest of the day, Trevor and I went from various position to the next, hoping to see some deer. No luck. I believe he saw one or two more, but that's it. We didn't get a shot at any. It was still really fun, though. I was able to get to youth group on time, and had fun messing around with my guitar with a few other guys. I've gotta learn how to play Crazy Train! :P

Anyway, hope you all have a happy Thanksgiving! Even those of you in Australia

Hey I am sorry that I haven't been able to tlak to you as much this past week. I do miss you though I can't get on this at school now because it is blocked and then I haven't been feeling too well, plus maybe the fact that I'm dealing with something pretty big right now, I know you know what I am talking about. But anyway that is no excuse and I will certainly work on it Well I hope you have a good rest of the day and a peaceful sleep tonight
