That's odd... It must not have sent the e-mail through CGR. I tried e-mailing the address you gave me, but you haven't replied to it yet. Did you get it? The subject line was "Hi". Yeah, my break has been great! I love being off from school :P. I like learning, don't get me wrong, but I love having fun, too, lol. Sadly, my grandfather and aunt and uncle are leaving today, dunno when I'll see them again. Probably around July 4th or something. I'm going on a hunting trip (Sorta) on Tuesday, and probably will be back on Saturday. That is, I'll be back then if I don't get anything before then. I hope to get something before then, and I am praying that I will, because I don't wanna miss youth group, heh. I also like being home

I just couldn't do it, full stop! (Guess I'm a sort of a life-preserver rather than taker, if you see what I mean).

There are some Auzzies who hunt, but it's far more an American thing than here I would think. Plus, some years ago, guns were banned in Oz except under specific conditions. Doesn't mean you still can't hunt, but a lot less probably than before.

Sometimes our kangaroo population gets WAY out of hand, and ppl shoot them to reduce the numbers. To me that's a different matter, even tho I'd probly not want to do it personally. And animal-lovers outside Australia can get real stroppy when we have to cull kangas! But it's totally necessary far as i can see.

What's maybe sad is that kangaroo meat is far more healthy than beef, and kangaroos can far more easily live in our harsh and nearly desert conditions in much of our land. So why we don't farm THEM is simply beyond me!

Heh, that's a good question... But yeah, deer are overpopulating our area, so I'm not too worried about it. If I see a good sized one, I plan to eat it... But hey, I dunno yet. I might decide that I don't wanna do it, then, when I realize what it would mean. I imagine that I have many hard decisions ahead of me... I eventually plan to join the military, so I imagine I'll have to think about that hard before I join. Killing a deer is one thing, but killing a human being is another...
