Visual Arts in Church

Our church just started implementing the visual arts into church (other than the paintings on the walls and stain glass etc.).
Last week, I painted a entire painting (About 2 feet by 4 feet) in 15 minutes, during communion. I just went with it, and it ending up being a picture of the back of the cross while Jesus hung there. It was extremly fun to do, and lots of people said that out of the entire service, the painting touched them the most. Anybody else have this type of thing in their services?

I've seen that done at an Acquire The Fire conference....

The way this guy pulled the elements of the painting together was unbelievable.
