Choir nerds and voice majors

Any other choir nerds or voice majors like myself? We should form a vocal alliance

I'm in. I currently sing at my church, take private voice lessons, and am applying to a university as a potential voice major.

I sometimes think I'm the only one who loves the Vocals forum, and then you post something.

Hey! I love the vocal forum too . I just never have anything to say, being the introvert that I am.

I used to take voice and be in choir. I'm singing backup in my school's praise band right now. But I plan on starting back up with choir and voice when I go to college next year.

I am a huge choir nerd.. it's sad, but I love it! At one point in time I was in three choirs all at the same time. That's fun.. I'm currently in two right now...

Hey, I love this forum as well! I'm not a choir nerd, and neither am I a vocal major

Yessssssss! The five of us, all fervently hoping that more people will start singing and the forum will stop being dead! I guess I'll have to start trying to recommend my friends that sing to CGR

Yeah.. Besides, it is cool to share experience with other singers. Hear voices.. Stories
It is really a bummer that this forum is so empty.

It is. Nobody ever posts here. I'll try to recruit some vocalists to CGR, though I'm just glad I'm not the only one who doesn't want it to die.

This forum would get much more attention if it was renamed "Screaming and Other Things That Only Slightly Resemble Correct Singing."

Yes, I am a vocal snob. I am a vocal principal at college and I am in two choirs and a pop-rock ensemble as well.

Former choir nerd. Choir nerds rawk, unless they are trying to cover rock songs using the choir or opera voice, or claiming that popular singers don't sing "right."

I SING AT ANY POSSIBLE TIME! In the car, at choir (duh ), in the shower, while I'm playing drums (and every other instrument, as far as that goes ), I sing karaoke, and, actually, I'm singing the Newsboys "Entertaining Angels" background track right now! It just came onto my MP3 player

Heh. Yeah. It's nice to have a contemporary and an opera/choir voice, and be able to switch off from the two

*raises hand* I love this forum too! I'm not a choir nerd (actually I'm not even in a choir) and I'm not old enough to be a voice major (so now Jesse/FUR has to guess how old I am!! this should be interesting... )
