| Wherever you go, there you are Yup, that pretty much explains it.
My name is Kyle. I am a freshman at Binghamton University (local student too) studying Computer Engineering. I play guitar. I play for my church youth group's worship team (well, kinda, chemistry recitation on wednesday nights). My band is in the very early stages of forming.
I like working on websites (can't say I'm the best though). I like playing guitar. I like a bunch of different bands--Pillar, Project 86, 12 Stones, P.O.D., Haste the Day, Skillet, Living Sacrifice, Day of Fire, Demon Hunter, Seventh Day Slumber, Spoken, Third Day, Jeremy Camp, etc.
And I should be doing some homework right about now, but I'd rather do something else--like play guitar, but it's late (did I mention that I love my guitar ).
I think that's enough for you to chew on for now.

| Hello Kyle. I'm Sarah, and I'm 13.
Welcome to the 'C section' of Journals. (Say that out loud... ) I like a lot of the same bands you do. Especialy P.O.D. and 12 Stones... and Skillet.
I used to hate P.O.D. but now I love 'em.
I have to go to bed now, but I will hopefully talk to you later.
-Sarah
Oh, and by the way, I love your blog title. I had to read it like, 5 times before I even understood, but it's definitely cool! |

| I have a couple minutes between classes to take a breath, figured I'd update.
Chemistry is officially the worst of all the sciences . Didn't really like it back in high school--now I definitely don't like it in college. Give me physics any day . Oh and I have a calculus test tonight--9 o'clock at night ! It's crazy.
And now I have to get going. Off to Deutschkurs (German class....I think )

| Engineering majors don't have to take a foreign language, but the class also qualifies as a different kind of general education (global interdependancy or something like that), and I wanted to take some kind of language in college. I might take Latin or Greek later on.

| My engineering group is supposed to do a reverse engineering project (take something apart and put it back together--but with 20 extra steps in between). We started with a $10 toaster, then we discovered that it was welded together. So we decided to switch to a $50 remote control car--meaning we can't break this one . We took it all apart today. When we were done (almost--still have the motors) we realized that we should have labed things as "part A, part B,...,Part Z" and put them in plastic bags. Instead we put it all in a box and used descriptions like "medium size silver screw", "black washer-screw", "bottom cap of motor chasis motor", and my favorite, "rod"--with five different kinds of rods . And then there's always the take-the-screw-out-and-suddenly-all-the-gears/washers/everything-falls-apart-and-
we-spend-10-minutes-trying-to-put-it-back-the-way-it's-supposed-to-be. And the digital camera we were using had its battery die, and the charger doesn't work in the US--bought in Malaysia.
That's what's up. We're gonna have to do a lot of work to make this project a success (or whatever we can get).
I can't wait for this day to be over (only 30 more minutes 'til my chem lecture, then an hour later I'm free ). The youth worship team is playing in the Sunday evening service--should be pretty fun .

| That sounds cool. My older sister plays guitar in our youth band... gah, she's good. |

| I wouldn't think that I'd be a very good teacher either--no patience.
I'd probably be like, "here, play this chord progression like this," with no explanation of the rhythm or anything.

| Haha, dst always screws me up. 6:30 wow.
Hey, if you're still looking to pass time, you could always watch ice skating.
Oh yeah! The excitement, the drama... My little sisters are watching ice skating right now, I guess that's a good thing. They're being quiet. *shrugs* |

| ack, I'm slipping already
Let's see...worship went really well last night. We played two of my top five worship songs (Empty Me and Our Great God) so I was really happy .
Today was a usual boring day. I kept catching myself almost falling asleep in chemistry. I managed to avoid any trick-or-treaters (scared 'em away with guitar I did ). And I had a bunch of calculus homework I could have done tonight, but instead I spent about an hour working on ImOnFire's webpage riddle . Still haven't figured out the last bit. Well that's all I can think of right now.
"in the end, it came"

| Well I've been real busy with projects, homework, and all that other good stuff that comes along with college. Let's see...my friend and I were fooling around with the domain and host for his website ( www.bencabot.com) trying to get it to work (it still fluctuates between working and not working). I found out that my German presentation is Dec. 8 so I can put that off until next month. I got 7/15 on my chemistry test wednesday night. My engineering group is ahead of everyone else on the reverse engineering project, but we've still got some issues (yesterday, after a meeting with the TA for our presentation, we had to go work on disassemblling our remote control car, one guy had to go to his room to get the car, another guy is like "can I go take a shower", I'm like "you have 10 minutes", he's like "give me 15", I said ok...45 minutes later he walks in--he ate lunch too...and the digital camera we've been using to photograph the parts is a Malaysian camera and won't charge here in the US, so we couldn't take anything apart yesterday). I think that covers all academic updates...
We watched Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. I don't really care for the new episodes...they just don't have the 'feel' the old ones had. The special effects and plots are really good, but the scripts are so-so.
Hmmm....anything else....
My band is having some trouble getting started due to delays in securing a practice location. It's taking some more persuading to get our church to let us use the youth room than we thought.
That's all I can think of......

| Today I had a lot of free time to do some homework. Unfortunately I didn't get anything done. On the bright side, the youth worship team practiced tonight for a men's convention this saturday for which the worship team is playing for several of the services--it's pretty cool. And I was told tonight, that with my $500 of gear, I'm getting $11,000 of tone . Hmmm...got a engineering team presentation thing tomorrow, and a bunch of chemistry stuff to get caught up on. Fun, fun, fun.
