| Why pay extra money to have your clothes made how they're gonna be in a few months anyways? At least, for me they are. |

I don't like pre-torn Jeans, I will tear them soon enough. Then they are cool and I wear them until they start to fall apart too much.

Without the patches and tears in strategic locations its not the same.

| I don't like paying $45 or more for jeans that looks like some farmer traded in when I can buy a pair that actually look new for less and they'll look like that in a month or so. Maybe that's just me, but I don't like to pay more for less, when I can get the real thing for less. |

#54 | | broken in and breaking | yes why would you buy pre-ripped jeans? I love riped jeans but I can save so much money if I let time, wear, and me rip the jeans. Just throwing in my thought of the day.

| Here is how you get ripped jeans with less than $5.
1 - go to your local Goodwill or Salvation Army
2 - find a half-decent pair of jeans that fit
3 - tear them up by cutting them with scizzors, a power saw, a hand saw, a kitchen knife, dragging them across concrete, chewing a hole in them, etc.
4 - wear them
See? I can solve all the world's problems. |

See? I can solve all the world's problems. | Except that I've yet to find a pair of jeans that fit at a thrift store.
I'll stick to pre-torn.

| Are you kidding? Even if you, for some insane reason, couldn't find jeans that fit you at the thrift store, regular jeans are almost always cheaper than jeans that are torn. Besides, we buy clothes to cover ourselves. Ripping holes in our clothes defeats the purpose that they were made for, no? Even if you did want holes in your pants, they (or mine, anyways) become that way soon enough. The only pants I have that don't have holes in them are the ones my dad gave me a couple of weeks ago (I get all his old pants cuz I'm one size smaller than him ) and I haven't had time to wear them in yet. |

| I just bought a new pair of jeans that have rips, patches, and weird stiching and spots of paint. Sweetness.

| I just got a pair of ripped ones for $30, that's not bad at all, less then I spend on my whole ones, usually.

| 30x34? Go to Costco. Get a good pair for like $15. Rip it as much as you want. Especially if you have anger issues. Hacking the living crap out of a pair of jeans with some scissors could be a great emotional release. I wouldn't recommend it, and I find it destructive, but if that's what you really want...
$30? Wow. Usually they're $90+ |
