Seriously... if you want the worn look, you have to earn it. You can't just buy a diploma (ok, you probably can) or a law license. You can't buy a brand new '57 Chevy. Things just don't work like that. It's cheating.

well, alot of conversation has been sparked by this. I guess it is based majorly on personal taste. These jeans are being sold as fast as they can make them though, so someone likes them. I personally like them 'cause they are different and I like being different.

Aha. But how different will you be when almost everyone owns a pair?

You are not very "different" if they are selling as fast as they are making them which = lots of people already have them.

You are just another social lemming.

I prefer destroyed fatigues... they get that way by being worn... I do kind of like my worn Jeans, but then again, I typically consider first when buying jeans how long before they go threadbare.

Ive been wearing thrashed Jeans and shorts since I was little. I am cheap, thats all.

A unique look I have seen is taking a 12 gauge loaded with birdshot and firing it into new Jeans at about 20 yards. That has a unique look. I do not have any as I do not intentionally abuse my clothes, I do it enough by living.

WOW! I didn't realize these were coming back in style?! I love my pair. I've had them for like ... 4 wonderful ripped years and 4 wonderful whole years.

So really, "What is the air speed velocity of an unlaiden swallow?"
It's quite simple:
Drag on a body in a fluid is:
D = 1/2 (Cd*pi*r^2*rho*Vo^2) Cd = coefficient of drag of the swallow pi = 3.1415... r = radius of bird cross-section (approximating as a circle) rho = viscosity of air Vo = velocity For steady state flight, D (drag) = T (thrust), so:
------------------------------
| Vo = sqrt(T/Cd*pi*r^2*rho) |
------------------------------

Same here, except for the shotgun part

Does anyone know how I could make my own custom worn pair? What would I need? I'm guessing sandpaper but I don't know what else.
