| Band of Brothers hands-down. Part Nine ("Why We Fight") is reason enough for me. Puts the entire war into perspective.

Black Hawk Down isnt a war film either.
| What? explain to me how it isn't a war movie?
We watch lots of war movies, I love We Were Soldiers+any mel Gibson war movie, we own SPR, and I loved Band Of Brothers even though it was kinda hard to follow.(at least for me) |

| Anything John wayne was ever in.
Plus We were Soldiers, and Black Hawk Down.
Platoon was good also, and so was Hamburger Hill.

| I thought The Great Raid was pretty good. I like Band of Brothers, We Were Soldiers, Saving Private Ryan, and Saints and Soldiers. The worst war movie I have seen is "To Hell and Back". It was brutal.

Black Hawk down is a war movie.
It was about the end result of American, and UN intercesion in ongoing somali civil wars. It takes place in the middle of a "civil" war. BHD is about our last major combat op in the region before the great retreat of '93.
