| I think these are all great pictures. The arch ones look like they were all taken from Halo. The first two you posted are the best - good framing and with just enough of the subjects to tell what they are but not enough to be bored with them.
On the long exposure traffic pictures, the street lights the first one are way too distracting. Also, I think I like the lines better because you can see individual cars. Thanks for sharing those.
By the way, can you send me a larger version of the very first one through PM or email?

Here's a few shots from a wedding I shot this weekend.

I think it's because the visibility of the sky provides some contrast to the bright lights everywhere else in the picture. I also think the second one looks more "real." No one could actually see the scene in the first picture. You can't even see the night sky. It's like losing your peripheral vision.

Just took my 3.1 mp (I know weak hah) camera out and took a picture of some plants outside my house. Never really into photography but I liked this picture.
(Sorry for size, if someone wants to resize it be more than welcome)

(Sorry for size, if someone wants to resize it be more than welcome) | I like that picture a lot. The green and pink colors contrasted with eachother and the diagonal lines through the frame - as well as the splotchy patterns on the leaves.
the only would be to watch for those blown out spots down on the lower left hand corner....either shade it...shoot at a different time of day...or recompose.
but seriously....great picture.

#113 | | Crushy McSternum | Ditto what Brandon said. As for keeping the lighting even... one word: umbrella. I've been on a few short photography shoots with a semi-teacher of mine, Gale Trussel, and he always has an umbrella. It does wonder for shots like that. Otherwise, I'd say it's a beautiful piece of work.

(Sorry for size, if someone wants to resize it be more than welcome) | Wow. That's the only word that I have to offer. That is truly incredible.
Here are a couple from a...Umm...Recce that I did earlier this evening. I just wish that my camera would work better in low light.
*sigh*

I really like both of these. My only constructive criticism would be maybe adding a shoulder in #1. Just a shoulder. The position of her arm is a little awkward. You can tell that it obviously belongs to the body behind it, but the angle is just slightly distracting. Besides, bare shoulders are pretty.
In #2 I would like to see the two chairs in the foreground pulled back just enough so that they don't hide any of her hem.
Great pictures.

*sigh* | I like the second one the best. The others are kinda, meh. But the second one is pretty interesting. I like the silouhette look. Maybe crop it just a bit on the bottom so there's not so much black. Don't crop all of it, you want to keep that contrast in there. Just some. |

Compositionally, I love this one. Like I said before... skylines....
My only critique is the color. Maybe just a little too much red? I'm not sure. I'd have to mess with it some in PS to be able to compare it without so much.
I like this one better than the first. The silouhette of the trees, the diagnol perspective line they create, and I think the color balances better than the first. Nice shot.
Nothing to say but gorgeous. |

i think it's worth noting that in the last one the only light you see it from lightning. it was pitch black when i took it.
