Kinda going for a mild Xpro look. Not sure how convincing it is... (I've never done real cross processing...)

The biggest thing I see is that most of these photos would be stronger with some better use of compositional techniques. This website details the rule of thirds and diagonal rule pretty well. You do a good job with post-processing, so if you can match that up with a little stronger of shots, you'll have some fantastic photos. Good stuff so far -- I want to see more! Quote:

The bokeh does well here, especially seeing all the flowers blurred into the background. That's really cool.

The shallow depth of field has kept the image from being too busy and allowing focus on only one or two places. Where it runs into trouble is that the clover blossom that is in focus doesn't keep the eye because the white is over-exposed and blown out so that the detail is lost.
If it was blown out in camera, there isn't really anything that you can do about it but if you just brightened it too much in post-processing, you could dial it back, assuming that you saved your original file.
Anyway, I really like what the image was meant to be; it's just the blown-out white that spoils it for me.

The link was very helpful! I'll definitely be working on getting better! So many times I have an idea in my head but since I'm so new to photography I have a hard time re-producing those ideas. Practice makes perfect!!
Thanks again for the feedback! I was extremely encouraged to read what you had to say !

The window was even dirty. So, I'm not sure how it turned out clear!! My style of editing has been heavily influenced by Jeremy Cowart (what an amazing photographer) so I like going for a very dramatic look. I do think I probably did a little to much (especially to the Railroad Track picture). And yeah I'll definitely post more picture when I get the time (I just auditioned for American Idol yesterday so I've been kind of busy)!

So many people I know are friends with him personally. You'd think eventually I'd somehow cross paths with him, especially in a town like Nashville. |

If you can brighten it a bit without blowing out to pure white, that would be good, too, but how bright it appears will differ from monitor to monitor, anyway.
Nice work.
