| Beach pictures.
#1 I was zoomed in too far but other than that I think it is pretty good
#2 I like this photo because of the reflection of the dog off the water. there are a few things that I don't like about this photo though like it isn't very sharp and there is stuff going on in the background ( the trucks)
#3 is one is pretty good
#4 decided to shoot a photo in black and white
#5 i think this one would have better if the sand in the foreground wasn't messed up.
critique away. |

| A few self-portraits:
To critique myself a little, I shouldn't have cut the top of my head off, and the background is a little busy on the second. |

| here is a picture that i took after a demo derby. i wasn't even trying to get a good picture, i was just messing around with my camera and set it for a night mode, set the timer, and set it on the lid of a dumpster. |

how does this look??
I like the background, but it kinda distracts from the subject IMO
and the hat kinda creates a shadow that I don't like, is there anyway to get rid of that?? I think the lighting in general is a bit screwy.
This was taken with a 2MP phone camera, so it doesn't look all that great. |

| No, because your subject is directly in the center of the frame. Did you click on the link I posted?
Chelsea: Those are awesome. I love the balloons. I also really like the color palettes. Very nice. Glad your rainy day worked out |

This was taken with a 2MP phone camera, so it doesn't look all that great. | Not to be harsh, but that photo needs more than the rule of thirds...
The background, which you state liking, is probably the number one problem. It's busy and distracting. And the fact that the light in the background is so bright and your camera automatically exposes what it thinks is correct, it made your subject way underexposed. |

| Thanks.
I actually didn't do much with the color. It was rainy & overcast, and Utah golfcourses are ridiculously green. I did a bit, but not as much as you would think. Quote: |
